960 Grid Powered
Fresh! uses the popular 960 grid to achieve its sophisticated layout options. Its super light-weight, doesn't need Internet Explorer hacks and is compatible with all A-Grade browsers. The 960 grid promotes balance, consistent white space, and usability.
For a Joomla template, Joomlashack has used the 960 grid to provide optional multiple column layouts, for example, having the main center column be on the left, middle or right, while always ensuring the columns are source ordered. The main content column will always appear first in the code for better SEO.
We also use an adapted fluid grid inside the main layout grid to allow easy management of over 30 module positions!
